JENNIFER RAINES DUSING
Biography:
Jennifer Raines Dusing concentrates her practice in the areas of adoptions, domestic relations, and business law.
Prior to joining Miniard & Associates, Jenny served as the Staff Attorney for Judge Linda Rae Bramlage in Boone County Family Court from 2005 to 2007. She received her J.D. from the University of Kentucky in 2005. While in law school, she served as a senior staff member of the Kentucky Law Journal and the Treasurer of the Women’s Law Caucus. She was also a Student Public Interest Law Foundation (SPILF) grant recipient for both 2003 and 2004. These grants allowed her to gain legal experience working through the summers in the Fayette County Attorney’s Office, CASA Project of Lexington, and the Children’s Law Center in Covington.
During law school Jenny also found the time to volunteer with Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky from 2003 to 2005. She continues her volunteer work, now as a Runner with the Women’s Crisis Center, responding to domestic violence and sexual assaults in the northern Kentucky area.
Jenny received her B.A. in Sociology from Hanover College in southern Indiana in 2000. While in college, she spent six months studying art, psychology, and literature in Leuven, Belgium and traveled throughout Europe. Jenny moved to northern Colorado after college, where her interest in children and domestic relations was first ignited while working as a Counselor at a residential treatment facility for two years.
Jenny is licensed to practice law in Kentucky. She lives in Florence with her husband, Andy.
